You might be wondering, if regular carrots are okay for my horse, are baby carrots okay too?
Baby carrots were invented in the early 1980s by a California carrot farmer who noticed he was losing sales on carrots that were “ugly.”
He bought an industrial bean cutter and began cutting and shaping the ugly carrots into what we know today to be baby carrots.
So baby carrots are simply regular carrots that are harvested once they reach full maturity.
